70 yr old woman beaten and robbed for tax refund

Ugh. This is horrendous. I wish I could have found the ones responsible and made them have a "Final Destination" type of way out of life.

Welcome aboard! Hope to see you discussing some decent topics around here and offering some insight on to some of the horrendous stuff that goes on in the outside world.

    Do you understand?

I imagine most cops do. I feel they all know that their authority can make people edgy a bit, and most don't push it when they see someone fumbling about because we don't have to deal with cops on a normal everyday basis. However, I feel some DON'T recognize this and then wrongly accuse the...

    Have you ever mentored someone?

I have mentored plenty of people about many different issues from academics to finding the right video game and holding their hands inside said issues. Sometimes all a person needs to be independent and find their stride is for someone else to believe in them and give them the proper notice they...

How do you like your eggs cooked?

Scrambled. Failing that, omelettes. I dislike anything I can still taste the runny yolk in. Ewwwww.

Police chief mistakes daughter, 16, for intruder and shoots her

All I can think is that the Father had no positive identification, it was later in the night so it was dark, and he probably already expected her to be asleep/doing something else. These three things don't make it okay to fire upon an intruder without positive ID though, and I'm sure as the...

Ohio Woman Stabbed Boyfriend Because He Ate All the Salsa

Little do we know that Salsa could solve the issues of world hunger and peace. But he ate it all. He needed to be stabbed multiple times by bogus instruments. Never eat all the SALSA! HOW COULD YOU MAN!? Seriously though, on topic this is messed up. There had to be pre-existing connections or...

What are you doing right now?

Honestly I'm working online to try to make ends meet. Selling whatever old memorabilia I can, writing for money (content editing) are just some of the few things I do to pull in an extra cent or two to keep me from freezing on the street. Lack of jobs around the area that can only be remedied by...

12 Yr Old Girl Tried To Murder Her Mother

Well, the fact she had an Iphone had to influence her decision to use BLEACH in drinks of all places. It may have not been smart, but she obviously knew what she was doing and the fact it could kill her mother. I don't think she should be sentenced to juvenile or anything but she should be put...

    Would you do it?

If I knew they were committing crimes and they were close to me, I'd have someone else arrest them but still arrest them. I don't think I could do that to friends or family, but I know they have to be punished. I know it might be shirking responsibility or be seen as a weakness, but I don't care.

Will firing squads make a comeback?

I indeed agree with it's barbaric. At least with lethal injections you die almost all of the time. A firing squad, no matter how well trained can still have a chance to miss vitals and leave the potential person alive to experience such pain that is unconstitutional. I hope this doesn't trend...

    Hey, Y'all!

Welcome, indeed! Nice to see more people joining the fray as it were and discussing the pressing issues of todays freaks and the laws needed to enforce their proper punishment!

Are police shows like "Cops" authentic?

With the term "Reality TV" and then "Cop Shows" get thrown on - sure you'll see how they act, how they maintain the law, but the actual law they're enforcing in those episodes may be twisted to give their show an action stance or a compilation of videos to make a car-chase scene look pretty...

    College Drinking

Every school has similar policies or issues even if they tote a "Zero Tolerance" policy around. College kids will drink. I live in a college town myself and I'd much rather get caught by town police than the college PD rent-a-cops because they're complete grade A-Hollywood-wannabe-cop douchebag...

    Child Murderer Up for Parole

"Up for Parole" doesn't mean she'll get it either. A lot of the parole board could still look at this the same way we are - she shouldn't. Even if she is reformed, that means she'll only have another chance to murder away. Again, it could mean she's truly rehabilitated too. Can't have one...

What is your least favorite part of your day?

Afternoons. Like between 2:PM and 6:PM before the evening begins. Kids are out en masse, traffic from normal lives takes over, and generally a lot more drama happens during these hours because they ARE hours of commute and activity. Early morning can be classified same way. So an easier answer...

    Do you enjoy watching anime?

Almost, if not all the shows I watch are not "immature" by any stretch. They also aren't 'cartoons' because I would not show the ones I watch to kids either, or it may give them nightmares. Sure there is a fair childish amount of content out there, I grant you that. But an older majority (the...

    Fearing Retribution

Cops can get over it. Real people can get over it. But the problem with getting over it is it costs you your chosen career. Doesn't seem like an equivalent exchange in the least does it? But it's the sad, sad truth. Some people 'look the other way' because they just want to keep status quo and...

Why Psychos Should Never Be Released From Jail

They should be but they generally don't take the time nor resources to individually evaluate people unless it's a rare or extreme case. That's why it needs to be fixed up to properly put people where they should be. I've seen loonies in jail, and sane people in the loony bin pretending so they...
